The Global Somersault Session
One hour. Your situation, diagnosed. A written recommendation report with the real constraint identified and the sequence of next steps laid out clearly.
This is not a discovery call. It is a session with a deliverable.
In 13 years and 101 engagements, I have never worked on the problem a client described when they first reached out.
It is not that clients misrepresent things. When you are inside a complex situation, the presenting problem is almost always a symptom. The real constraint is almost always one of four things: something that cannot be communicated clearly, something that does not structurally exist yet, something that cannot be accessed financially, or something that simply cannot be seen — because the person dealing with it is too close to it.
Every engagement I have ever taken has been about finding which one it is.
Real estate capital structures. Restaurant chains. A business acquisition. A renewable energy plant in Panama. A monk who needed to build an entirely new livelihood after decades in a monastery. The industries change. The pattern does not.
The real constraint is one of four things
Something that cannot be communicated clearly.
Something that does not structurally exist yet.
Something that cannot be accessed financially.
Something that cannot be seen — too close to it.
Something has probably shifted.
Not collapsed — shifted. You are still running. Still making decisions. But somewhere in the recent past, the clarity you used to have about what to do next has become harder to find. Every option feels equally weighted. The obvious move is no longer obvious.
You do not have a strategy problem. It is a complexity problem.
You have probably already tried to solve it. You have brought in people, read things, made lists, had conversations. And you still feel like you are circling the same point without landing on it.
That is precisely the situation this session is designed for.
One hour. Structured. With a deliverable at the end.
You fill out a short application. I review it before the session. I come prepared. We do not spend the hour orienting — we spend it working.
Not the presenting problem. The actual constraint that is making the presenting problem persist. This is the diagnostic work. It is specific to your situation and cannot be templated.
After the session I send a written document: what is actually happening, what matters most, and the sequence of next steps. This is the deliverable. You have something concrete when it is over.
The report stands on its own. If you want to pursue the recommendations together, retainer packages are available. If you want to implement them yourself, you will have everything you need. Either way, you leave with clarity.
We are not here to brainstorm a list of possibilities. We are here to identify the one constraint that matters most and tackle it.
I do not raise questions and wait for you to discover the answer. I diagnose and tell you what I see. You can disagree. But there will be a clear point of view in the room.
The session is not a gateway to a longer engagement. The recommendation report is the deliverable whether we work together afterward or not. I do not withhold clarity to manufacture dependency.
If you already know what the problem is and what to do about it, you do not need this session. You need execution. This session is for when the fog will not lift on its own.
The Pattern
That sentence became clear somewhere around client number thirty. By client number one hundred and one, it was the central fact of the practice.
A fitness business said they had a leads problem. They did not. A transportation company said they had a rework problem. They did not. A logistics platform said they had a capital problem. They did not. In every case the presenting problem was real — it was just downstream of the actual constraint. The same four things kept appearing underneath, regardless of industry, regardless of client size, regardless of what the engagement was called.
The industries changed.
The pattern did not.
I ignored the conventional advice to specialize in an industry. I built the practice across forty instead, because the diagnostic lens does not change with the industry — only the vocabulary does.
I kept a contract structure that some clients found unusual. Payment upfront. A withdrawal clause for non-compliance. No hourly negotiations. Other consultants said it would drive clients away. It filtered for the right ones.
After 13 years of the same pattern repeating — two major business acquisitions, a renewable energy plant in Panama, restaurant chains, individual founders, and a monk building a new livelihood from scratch — the practice is still the same thing it has always been. Find what is actually broken. Build what is actually missing. Leave the client able to operate without me.
If you think your situation might benefit from that lens, the application is below.
I review every application personally. If the session seems like a good fit for the situation you described, I will be in touch within 48 hours to confirm and send payment instructions. Once payment is received, we schedule the call.
Consulting. I bring a point of view, a diagnosis, and a recommendation. You are not paying me to ask you questions until you find your own answer. You are paying me to tell you what I see — clearly, specifically, and in writing.
Some situations are resolved in one session plus the recommendation report. Others benefit from sustained engagement. If after the session you want to continue working together, we discuss what that looks like. Retainer packages are available and always structured with upfront payment.
A written document delivered after the session. It covers: what the real constraint is (not the presenting problem), why it is the constraint, and the specific sequence of next steps I recommend. It is designed to be actionable without me in the room.
The Clarity Guarantee
The application you submitted defines where you started. The recommendation report defines where you ended. If the report does not give you a clear diagnosis of what is actually blocking your situation and a concrete sequence of next steps — something you did not have when you walked in — the session is on me. Let me know within 48 hours of receiving the report.
If it is a fit, you will hear from me within 48 hours.
